Double Exposure Blackjack
Double Exposure is considered one of the finest variations of blackjack and many players prefer this game over others. It is considered a lot of fun. The main difference between Double Exposure Blackjack and classic blackjack is that both dealer cards are visible from the beginning of the game. This provides the players with a distinct advantage and naturally the remaining variations in the rules are all designed to compensate for this incurred advantage.
Double Exposure Blackjack Rules
Although even within this game there are several rule variations which exist and differ from casino to casino, some rules are fairly constant. These constant rules include the following: Both dealer cards are exposed (hence the "double" - exposure), dealers win on all ties except on a natural blackjack, players are (usually) only allowed to split once and player blackjack wins are only worth even money (in stead of the 3:2 which is the common value). There are several other rules which can vary as well. These include whether or not a player can split like numbered card which are not identical (like a king and a queen - for example) and the precise outcome of a blackjack tie (whether the prize goes to the player or this is considered a push).
Double Exposure has Many Names
Double Exposure Blackjack is offered in many different casinos including some of the more famous online casinos. Of note is that this game sometimes goes by different names. Double Exposure Blackjack has also been called 'Dealer Disclosure' or 'Face Up Twenty One'. Regardless of the precise variation, the house advantage is usually less than 1% (except for the least favorable variations possible). This places the house advantage of this variation of blackjack as one of the wiser bets in the casino. Since the game is also a lot of fun, it is well worth giving it a try and experiencing a refreshing change from the classic blackjack game.
